Powered by the RTL9210B controller, this m.2 SSD slot is compatible with both NVMe and SATA 6Gb/s protocols, which allows a wide variety of DIY storage upgrade options based on your own budget and performance needs. This hub supports up to 4TB or higher storage expansion via the m.2 SSD slot.
Supporting up to 1050MB/s (NVMe) and 600MB/s (SATA), this hub could fully utilize the speed of any m.2 SATA drives on the market and it’s also one of the fastest multiport hubs with m.2 NVMe slot integrated. The built-in SD/TF card readers support up to UHS-1 speed, with a theoretical limit of 104MB/s.
Besides the super-fast m.2 SSD slot, this adapter also comes with a 4K 60Hz HDMI output and it supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) output#. 4K 60Hz HDMI output is supported while using with a computer that equips a DisplayPort (DP) 1.4 USB-C/ Thunderbolt 4 output.
This hub also equips with the latest USB 3.2 gen 2 type-A port, supporting a maximum of 10Gbps speed, which is 2x faster than the previous generation of USB 3.0 Gbps port. And for connecting legacy peripherals such as keyboard/mouse receiver, we have reserved a dedicated USB 2.0 port which ensures maximum signal purity and integrity.
Passthrough charging and Power Delivery (PD) input is supported by this hub, accepting 100W input and reserving 15W for the hub itself, it delivers up to 85W to the connected device for charging, depending on the charger being used.
#4K 60Hz HDMI output is only available for M1 MacBook Air, M1 MacBook Pro 13”/14”, MacBook Pro 15” (>2017) and MacBook Pro 16”, whereas MacBook Pro 15” 2016, old MacBook Pro 13” and MacBook Air support only up to 4K 30Hz max. HDMI output. Intel-based laptops with 10th Gen or newer Core™ processors support 4K 60Hz output as well.

Only MacBook Pro (Year 2018 and newer) and other laptops with native DisplayPort 1.4 signal are capable of outputting 4K@60Hz via HDMI port of this hub.
This product supports 4K 60Hz for those devices that support DP1.4 signal output. The output bandwidth of the DP1.2 signal is not enough to output 4K 60Hz, only available for 4K 30Hz. Please check the specification of your device before buying it.
